My role at Career Healthcare has been as varied as it is demanding, and has brought me back up to speed on all things Recruitment. From Career Healthcare’s conception, I have been involved in establishing and rolling out compliance processes in an ever-changing market. Candidate attraction has also taken up a good amount of my time, and I have both assisted with, and run, candidate open days over the course of the year. As for my Recruiter training; I have also been lucky enough to have been mentored by one of the best niche Recruiters in the market. Whilst the last 12 months have been a very steep learning curve, I am now fully up to speed with every aspect of the 360° Recruiter role, and look forward to moving across to join the sales team full time within the next couple of months.

I supply nurses to both the NHS and private sectors all over the UK, specialising in recruiting Theatre Nurses, Operating department practitioners 'ODPs' and Theatre support workers. Other duties include processing generated leads, advertising, screening candidates to determine their suitability for the positions, meeting cadidates face to face, booking candidates into compliance days and keeping accurate, up to date candidate records.

To contribute a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the setting and provide activities to promote their development in all areas of learning. The role has given me the ability to understand that development is holistic and has defined my personality to embrace each individual (young or old) as they are.

To promote the personal, educational and social development of young people aged between 13 and 19, although my role as Under 8's play co-ordinator allowed me to concentrate on children under the age of 13. I would support the children and young people to engage in structured activities to help promote, redress inequalities, valuing opinions and empower individuals to take action on issues affecting their lives, including; health, education, unemployment and the environment, by developing positive skills and attitudes.My role varied greatly, but typical activities involved:•Managing and administering youth and community projects and resources•Assessing the needs of young people, and planning and delivering programmes related to areas such as health, fitness, smoking, drugs, relationships and bullying•Running arts-based activities, community/environmental projects, residential activities, outdoor education and sporting activities•Befriending and supporting individuals in various settings•Mentoring and supporting individuals to encourage social inclusion•Undertaking administrative tasks, verifying information and responding to queries•Meeting, liaising and networking with police, educational establishments, social services, Youth Offending Teams (see the Youth Justice Board for England and Wales) and other agencies to address issues and promote opportunities for young people•Working with parents and community groups to win support for improved provision and acting as an advocate for young people’s interests•Identifying and pursuing sources of funding for projects to improve services and/or resources for young people•Drawing up business plans, writing reports and making formal presentations to funding bodies•Teaching various AQA courses; health and safety in the kitchen, photography, care for children, short movie productions.
