Hi! I'm Karla, a former elementary school teacher who found her way into the world of product design! I earned my master's in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) from Georgia Tech in Spring 2024 🐝 My journey from the classroom to UX has been a rewarding adventure! As a teacher, I learned how to explain complex ideas in a way that makes sense and—most importantly—ask the right questions to uncover what students need. Now, I use those same skills to design intuitive, accessible, and functional experiences for people. I find deep fulfillment in my career path — developing designs that give delightful experiences and truly resonate with people! My approach is all about designing with heart and, of course, applying user research and business goals. ☺️Based in Austin, I'm searching for a product designer/UX position for exciting projects where I can continue to grow and make a real impact. Let's connect! 👋🏼_______🇲🇽¡Hola! ¡Conectemos! 👋🏼
