I'm a career changer and I've been interested in a pivoting from the biotech field into a dynamic new one that employs any of my most enjoyed skills - quality review, working with people, customer service and education/training. I like to keep busy and work in an energetic environment. As a professional with 15 years of technical and quality assurance experience obtained in deadline-driven, high complexity biotech laboratories I've gained a solid foundation and broad skill set. I'm no stranger to hard work and fast-paced work environments. In addition to becoming proficient in complex analytical techniques in microbiology and molecular biology, I picked up experience in technical writing, proofreading, and data review. I always volunteered for quality control tasks in all of the laboratory positions I had, and I enjoyed being a quality assurance associate where I could solely focus on the quality review of the analytical work performed by the technicians and the quality assurance systems that supported it.I've most recently been a substitute teacher and have enjoyed the process of teaching curious young minds. I utilize my real-world experience to bring whatever I am teaching to life through personal stories in the fields I worked.
