As a Master Teaching Artist I work in the NYC public schools where my strengths lie in classroom engagement, dynamic student-centered teaching and mentoring, working with Special Populations and ELL, and using theatrical teaching strategies to engage students in curricular content and life skills. I especially enjoy guiding students in the creation of their own artistic work and training young actors in a conservatory setting, as well as coaching. Building empathy and critical thinking skills, as well as Anti-Racism work and Culturally Responsive, Collaborative Education pedagogy drive my personal mission as a Teaching Artist. With administrators and teachers I work as a Professional Developer, Curriculum Designer, Mentor, and at our Broadway theaters I work with audiences as Facilitator for the Celebrity Series and Community Conversations, as well as creating and presenting talks for our Theatre Plus program.

I've been an Actor, Director and Board Member with The Drilling Company since 2004. I've played Gertrude in Hamlet, Emilia in Othello, Mistress Ford in The Merry Wives of Windsor, and The Doctor in Reservoir; I created the role of Betty in The Norwegians and was named by the NY Times as one of the Top 25 Quirky and Magical Moments in Theatre of 2013. As director I helmed productions of Hamlet at Shakespeare in the Parking Lot and Bryant Park Shakespeare with Jane Bradley in the title role, as well as productions of All's Well That Ends Well (The Lot), and co-directed A Midsummer Night's Dream in Bryant Park.
