My goal as a STEM educator is to connect my students to as many real world scenarios as possible, which gives them a cultured worldview through their eyes as researchers.

Employing social entrepreneurial skills, this nonprofit organization has been developed to provide interactive workforce development training with the utilization of various experts. Our experts vary in background from training and education to instructional design, African American History to cultural arts, and from conflict resolution to re-entry. This organization also provides business services and consultation to other nonprofit organizations, small businesses, and community associations. Additionally, The Sustained Solution Corp. has implemented a youth leadership program called the LOT (Leaders of Tomorrow) Group.

Driven to providing effective solutions to the unemployed in Baltimore City, the Liberty Rec and Tech Center is a hub for Maryland's Workforce Exchange program. We identify the workforce preparedness needs of our community members and develop curriculum to address the inefficiencies of traditional workforce development programs. We provide facility, training, a Suited 2 Succeed pantry, and networking opportunities to decrease unemployment rates of our community. The Liberty Rec and Tech Center is the primary location with partnerships and training centers in a number of other recreation centers, churches, and schools in Baltimore City.
