On a digital era, newspapers should move their efforts from paper to web and I'm proud to say that I was there. As Community and Social Media Manager, I led the efforts of position the webpage and social channels as one of the most important and influents in the country.I created a style guide and established metrics that allows understand our followers and create an effective communication strategy on social media. Also, we incorporated live efforts, as coverage of the most important events and hangouts with personalities of the political and cultural life in Mexico.Under my leadership, Excelsior's social channels growth from 86K followers on Twitter to more than 800K followers on a full social network that includes FB, Tw, G+ and Pinterest. This followers base gave on 2013 more than 40 millions unique visits to Excelsior's site.
