I am one of the main leads for the Latin American and Caribbean working group in The Hague Peace Projects. The working group is a bridge connecting Dutch governmental agencies and private enterprises with local communities' leaders and stakeholders, including indigenous communities across the Latin American and Caribbean region. We are a group of diplomats, scholars and regional leaders with a hybrid and local approach, bringing human rights, the environment, and peace to the forefront of the Dutch foreign affairs and business agendas.Our experts' network can also lent its expertise regarding policy analysis and mediation.

I was a Scientific Editor for one of Elsevier's largest social sciences & humanities open access journal.Main responsibilities included acquisition and development of high impact scientific content by supporting early career researchers and scholars in order to facilitate the transition from quality research to successful scientific publication within an open access environment. Attention is paid to the inclusion of women and minorities.

Online courses coordinator for the Latin American region. This role required relationship building, strong organizational skills and a self-starter attitude. Courses were designed for journalists in the Global South, an initiative to equip journalists with the core skills and information they need to report on urgent issues like the global pandemic, human rights, and climate change, and to connect them with key experts.

Launching of the new research program Global Transformations. The study program was design to study the intersections of globalization, migration, technological innovation and climate change and the challenges such transformations pose to governance and society.

Lecturer for the bachelor program International Relations and Organizations. Main duties included teaching and curriculum development in close collaboration with other lecturers. I was also the academic advisor for a cohort of students, providing guidance in matters related to research, methodology, academic writing and cultural differences.

I was the project manager for an interdisciplinary three-year research project. Main responsibilities included planing, implementing and managing the administrative side of the project, including monitoring budgets and timelines, as well as writing reports, organizing meetings and conferences, and safeguarding the project’s overall quality. My day to day activities were varied and included project administration, identifying bottlenecks, internal and external communication, and acting as a liaison with partner institutions, international scholars, and internal partners across several Leiden University faculties and institutes. Under the supervision of the principal investigator, I prepared and managed applications for further funding.
