Our role in urban regeneration schemes is multi-faceted, complex and rewarding. Primarily the role of the Independent Advisor is to provide clear, unbiased information about how regeneration or redevelopment options may affect residents and their homes. In order for this to occur my role involves working with directly with residents in order to build their capacity to ensure they are fully engaged with the process and influence any proposals that are developed.

Victoria Walks is an independent walking health promotion Charity. The primary goal of the organisation is to get more Victorians walking on an everyday basis. Co-ordinated the development, design and launch of an online toolkit. The toolkit serves as a comprehensive open resource for local councils who desire to produce a walking strategy but lack the necessary skills and/or expertise. Executed the production of a report on the benefits of reducing motor vehicle speed in pedestrian areas to 30 km/ph and the obstacles thereof.Conducted extensive investigative research into pedestrian amenity at signalised intersections.Scheduled, arranged and conducted walking surveys within the city environs.
