Mr. Buchanan is a transformational leader and decorated Army Office with over 30 years of executive level experience in both operations and sales. He is a proven critical thinker and strategic planner, in high growth and turnaround opportunities in diverse industries (manufacturing/distribution, security, aerospace, pharma, construction, health/fitness, retail, and servies). His expertise is identifying and streamlining value creation opportunities, resulting in significant EBITDA growth and shareholder returns. He has successfully lead portfolio, private and public companies, identifing new business development opportunities and M&A due diligence efforts pre and post acquisition. Mr. Buchanan served as Senior Vice President Operations at PGS a Private Equity Portfolio company where he is accountable for business planning, budgeting, financial analysis, directing and managing end-to-end company operations and supply chain activities including procurement, contract negotiations, warehousing, inventory management, logistics and distribution, and company strategic transformative initiatives across all departments of the organization to enhance organizational excellence, safety, and financial performance. Previously, he served as Vice President of Transformation; Regional Vice President both East and Central Regions; and Vice President Sales and Strategic Client Relations, for Garda World, the world's largest privately owned security services company including leading-edge security services and cash solutions. Here he was responsible for spearheading both back and frontend transformation, new business development, initiatives improving organizational, financial, human capital management, and technology advancements. Prior to Garda Mr. Buchanan served as Executive Vice President Operations (COO) MDBarnmaster where he was instrumental in directing all contract negotiations, budgeting, P&L management, customer relations, organizational efficiencies, recruiting/hiring, and sales strategies for a start-up operation. He focused on implementing a new operating model, resultng in increased revenue streams, and positioning the company as a top National construction leader for high-end equestrian facilities. Mr. Buchanan holds a bachelor’s degree from The Citadel. He has received training in Lean Six Sigma and served as a National speaker for Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Association of Manufacturing Excellence (AME) on Operational and Organizations Improvement, Process and Performance Improvement and Program Management.
