What’s Now? Retailers are now focusing on the core customer, our super fans, and those who love us. It sounds too simple, too easy, but it’s working. The core is the bread and butter, and sometimes the super fans are taken for granted because they love us so much; now, we need to nurture both relationships more than ever. Put ourselves in their shoes and reinvent the experience. Reinvention might be the term. Reexperience might be closer to what we need to do. Either way, we have started going deeper into what they see and what they know, giving them more insider views of what they love. These moves have already begun with a lot of surprises along the way. The goal, as always, is to tell a great story, create a memory and have them tell a friend😉.As a retailer, I have been fortunate to have worked and been exposed to over 100 unique retail locations worldwide, creating unique and custom assortments based on a wide range of customer demographics. The right item targeted to the core customer is the key, especially today. So, as a retailer, merchandise manager, product developer, and retailer, I may not have all the answers, but I find new ways to make retail work in today’s environment and prove I can.I look forward to speaking to you soon.KarlPlease email me at karl@karlbusche.comKarl Buschekarlbusche@outlook.comCall or Text 858.692.0629
