Karl Dauber is the owner of Advance Consulting (advconsult.net) and is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with nearly 40 years of experience providing hydraulic design services for civil engineering projects, particularly transportation infrastructure. He has been responsible for numerous drainage system designs, stormwater management plans, and bridge hydraulic, flood mitigation, and scour studies.Karl has extensive experience using ACOE and FHWA hydrologic and hydraulic methodologies and programs as well as numerous proprietary programs by Bentley Systems and others. He is very familiar with Bentley’s OpenRoads Designer (ORD) Drainage and Utilities software, and is experienced with building configurations and developing training documentation for ORD Drainage and Utilities. In the early 2000’s Karl assisted Bentley with software developments through the Inroads Storm & Sanitary Steering Committee and is currently working with Bentley through their Innovation Council.Karl is a registered Professional Engineer in NC.
