Data Analyst
CurrentTo support the Parking Enforcement Manager by developing data models, dashboards, and automation tools to enable performance monitoring and strategic decision-making across Parking Services. Achieve agreed outcomes, deliver high-quality insights, and align all activities with the Council’s strategic goals.Data Management and AnalysisDesign, maintain, and optimize data models, reporting systems, dashboards, and automation processes.Conduct advanced data modeling and analysis to uncover insights that support strategic initiatives and service optimization.Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting and analytical outputs.Enforcement and Contract ManagementAssist with managing on-street enforcement and CCTV/ANPR operations.Support contract management, including drafting documents, tendering, evaluating bids, preparing award reports, negotiating variations, and ensuring compliance with legislation and Council policies.Contribute to budget preparation and monitoring for Parking Services.Stakeholder EngagementRepresent the Council in meetings, seminars, and project events involving internal teams, contractors, local authorities, and other external bodies.Communicate insights and their impact on strategy to stakeholders within and beyond the Council.Quality and Process ImprovementDevelop and enforce quality control measures and departmental standards to ensure compliance and excellence.Oversee data and reporting requests, including tracking, prioritization, and approvals.Leadership and CollaborationAssist with recruiting, training, and supervising analyst-level employees.Manage Data Analysts and Service Quality Officers to ensure effective collaboration and successful project delivery.Policy and Technical DevelopmentAssist in formulating parking policies and presenting them to management and other stakeholders.Lead the design and implementation of technical processes to address key service challenges.
