As a PwC Partner, I have significant experience in the financial services industry, as well as audit and advisory services. I have been based in PwC's Auckland office for over eighteen years. Prior to this, I worked for PwC in Australia and the Channel Islands.With more than 28 years of financial services experience, I’m now serving as the Insurance Sector Leader for PwC New Zealand. I work with key financial services clients, including leading New Zealand and Australian banks, insurers and various fund managers.My focus is on the insurance sector, banks and investment managers, where I am able to use my strong background in financial reporting, risk management and compliance.My assurance experience includes both internal and external audits. I’ve worked on a number of controls assurance assignments particularly in investment management and have provided advice to various financial institutions on governance, risk management and regulation.I have worked with a number of organisations in relation to the implementation of the new insurance contracts accounting standard IFRS 17.
