Interned at public health management consulting firm designed to 'bridge the gap between business and public health' amidst a pandemic. Responsibilities: marketed the company through PowerPoint development and blogging, developed health education initiatives, cold-called/generated sales leads, worked closely with other interns to prepare documents for government funding, extensively researched the pandemic/emergency management, applied these concepts through curating new pandemic-safe business plans (mindful of OSHA, NIOSH, CDC guidelines). Researched the cosmetic industry (FDA) and the COVID-19 pandemic's impact upon the beauty industry. Was the lead on a focus-group presentation with top NYC hair salons centering around COVID-19 and pandemic response, used findings to prepare my college graduation project (50+ pages of findings and visuals). My beauty industry initiative was the first of its kind within the company and I got to grow the idea from start to finish - doing so by leading powerful business meetings (with partners of L'Oreal Cosmetics), leading and guiding interns for my project, and maintaining utmost organization with exemplary project management skills.
