As a spa Guest Attendant/Runner I am to provide refined luxury service in order to create lasting and favorable memories. Being a Receptionist has taught me an outstanding amount of tasks. I answered department telephone calls within 2 rings, using correct salutations and telephone etiquette. One of my tasks is to also transfer calls to the appropriate department for guests. I processed credit card, room, or cash transactions during the purchase of any retail items. I also greet all guests in a courteous and professional manner. As a receptionist I have learned to make strong relationships with other hotel departments. I am a hostess at the adult pool where I managed guests seats and greeted them upon checking in as well as checking them in for the day. On top of all of the other jobs i'm also a cabana receptionist. I send messages to guest rooms and get registration cards prepared. I greet and check in the guests for their cabanas for the day while multitasking with 3 separate programs on the computer to do so. I'm in charge of placing reservations for the next day, and keeping everything orderly. At the end of the day I handle all transactions for the cabanas as well as cabana tips for the hosts.

As a lifeguard of the pool at Vdara Hotel, I was alert at all times. I had to be paying attention to all activities in the pool. Time management was important when it came to getting other employees off rotations. Taking care of guest needs was extremely important in this position as well.
