I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in music, whether performing or educating.I received my Bachelor's Degree (Magna Cum Laude) in Music with an emphasis in Music Education from University of Nevada, Reno in 2013. While at the University, I performed with the Chamber Choir, the Wolf Pack Quartet, and Nevada Opera. One of the highlights of my college career was being a lead role, Pamina, in The Magic Flute.In August of 2020, I received my Master’s of Music with an emphasis on Music Education.I taught Concert Choir, Cadenza, and Ukulele at North Valleys High School in Reno, NV for five years. I also taught Intermediate and Advanced Chorus at O'Brien STEM Academy for a year. I enjoy teaching young children in grades K-6. I have nine years experience of working with them. I substituted for a year in the Hurst Euless Bedford area (DFW TX) where I was awarded Substitute of the Year in 2021. I then became a 7th/8th grade choir director at Leadership Academy Forest Oak Middle School from 2021-22 in Fort Worth, TX.I am now teaching elementary in a rural area with only 3000 students and I absolutely love it!
