2025 J.D Candidate-University of Wyoming College of LawI have a bachelor’s degree in political science with minors in homeland security and legal studies from Colorado State University-Pueblo. With this education, I have developed a broad range of skills to prepare myself for careers in areas such as government, law, business, and nonprofit organizations.In college I served on the student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC). This is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience. SAAC offers input on the rules, regulations and policies that affect student- athletes’ lives. There is a SAAC at the institution, conference and national levels. Within this organization and through my college team, we have served the community in numerous ways.My junior year of college I did a 6 month internship at our local Public Defenders Office.From 2020-2022 I worked at a mental health organization (Health Solutions) in Pueblo, CO. At Health Solutions I acted as the media and communications specialist for a new program helping with COVID-19 outreach. We network with organizations and individuals and connect them with mental health services.
