At Hinge I collaborate with my fellow Partners to develop and test many of our key programs and initiatives while heading up a portfolio of leading Professional Services firms. Guiding C-Suites and their teams through the ins and outs of research, marketing strategy, brand building, and web development is my version of dancing with the stars!Balancing client work, business development and content creation, means I have a pretty high-energy daily routine. But it’s a blast with the client and in-house teams I get to work with. The thrill of launching a new website and watching hockey-stick stats roll in from a new inbound campaign can’t be beat. Creative that inspires clients (and their clients) to engage and collaborate? That makes all the effort worthwhile and rewarding.One of the biggest perks of my job is speaking to engaged audiences – around the boardroom table or on stage in front of hundreds. Getting to educate, engage, and discuss issues with industry leaders and up-and-comers is always gratifying and often educational in return.As Hinge’s resident nerd whisperer, translating complex and tech-y “engineer-speak” into “human” is fun for me. Explaining what technology can do in plain language is the kind of challenge that gets me going. And for a real thrill, try convincing a talented engineer that “dumbing-it-down” is actually valuable because not everyone speaks geek! The breadth of my experience gives me a solid foundation to understand and connect with many levels of leadership at a wide range of organizations.
