- Responsible for the accurate and timely review, negotiation and settlement of demurrage claim activities associated with marine voyages, avoiding all time bars in filing or rebilling demurrage claims, while maintaining compliance with all policies and values. The Demurrage Analyst also provides Commercial Marine, Supply & Trading with guidance on demurrage matters, works with Contract Administration to review and optimize contract language in respect of Laytime and Demurrage wording on terms & conditions and standard long term contract forms. The Demurrage Analyst also supports ‘vessel delay reduction efforts’ across company functions and locations by capturing and reporting demurrage root causes and driving continuous improvements on identified operational areas. • Analyze and calculate demurrage claims for European and US barges• Issue demurrage claims to counterparties• Process payment of demurrage claims to barge owners and counterparties• Liaise with traders for special agreements with counterparties• Negotiate contracts with counterparties • Excellent knowledge of major European and US ports • Verify ship and port documents e.g.: Bill of Lading, Terminal time-sheets, Charter parties and Trade contracts• Excellent knowledge of the various sizes and limitation of vessels• Daily performance reporting to senior management• Excellent knowledge of Incoterms (International Commercial Terms) and responsibilities of buyer and seller based on the Incoterms

• - Responsible in all functions required in the settlement and post settlement phase of the transaction life cycle. Invoicing verification and pre-matching of settlement, settlement of cash and securities, securities position management, including issuances, conversions & creations, fails management and reporting Client support management of service providers including external custodians, clearers and banks. • Responsible for settlement of trades in multiple markets• Review client trade instructions based on fax messages and internal systems• Identify and communicate accurate reasons for trades failing to clients • Daily reporting of potential fail trades to the clients one day prior to settlement• Responsible for providing information related to market regulations and trading rules to clients• Excellent knowledge and experience of SWIFT messaging and SWIFT codes like MT54X and MT599• Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth settlement of trades • Manual conversion of trades from local to foreign and from NVDR (Non-Voting Depository Receipt) to foreign• Daily performance reporting to senior management• Excellent knowledge of ISIN codes, BIC codes and foreign exchange currency codes• Knowledge of duties for settlement of corporate actions such as IPO deals • Correspond with senior management of agent banks in different countries in Asia
