SUMMARY : I transitioned to my role as CEO of G3 Canada after playing a key role in creating the joint venture between Bunge Canada, and SALIC. Reporting to the Board of Directors, I led the purchase of the Canadian Wheat Board (CWB), and Bunge Canada’s grain assets. SUMMARY : As Managing Director for Bunge’s Canadian operations, and reporting to the North American CEO, I led Canadian operations including 6 oil refineries, 2 packaging plants, 3 office locations, as well as grain terminals and handling facilities across Canada. Bunge Canada employed more than 800 staff. My mandate was to expand our presence in Agribusiness in Canada for both food and grain handling.HIGHLIGHTS:*Restructured value chain as part of North American goal.*Championed growth strategies and expansions, evaluating merger and acquisition opportunities.*Maximized cost and operating efficiencies, divesting assets, analyzing supply chains, and facilitating new programs and systems.*Developed Grain expansion strategy, with key role in developing the merger between Bunge and SALIC to create the new G3 Canada venture.

I developed strategic plans, and performance metrics for locations in Asia, Australia, New Zealand, United States and Canada. I took the role of COO of Processing for Viterra in 2011, after performing as Senior Vice President Processing from 2004-2011. HIGHLIGHTS:*Integrated processing group as part of global restructuring, capturing $10M in internal synergies annually.*Focused on sustained profitability, reaching significant cost savings.*Divested feed ingredient manufacturing operations*Launched global food safety group, mitigating exposures to food safety risks through industry leading systems and structures.

SUMMARY: Together with 4 other co-founders, Can-Oat Milling was launched in response to the health market opportunities within the oat milling sector. After creating a feasibility study, business strategy and plan, raising capital, and construction of a greenfield oat milling facility, we commenced operations and quickly earned contracts with marquee brand leading food manufactures in North America. I became President of Can-Oat Milling in 2000, after performing many diverse leadership roles during the early years of Can-Oat’s development, including logistics, grain procurement, construction management, sales and marketing. HIGHLIGHTS: *Orchestrated all aspects of the business, including operations, hiring, marketing, procurement, and customer relations.*Secured long-term contracts and supply agreements with leading food manufacturers Kellogg’s, Ralston Foods and General Mills.*Negotiated labour contracts with unionized employees.*Led Can-Oat to become the largest industrial oat miller in the world.
