I am an entrepreneur, business stakeholder mentor, business development consultant. I love building on opportunities and it is a genuine joy I get from seeing organisations and businesses I work with achieve their goals.For many years I've worked with a diverse, extensive range of individuals, many I now call friends, in companies across many sectors to deliver a variety of services and solutions. Companies such as P&G, Shell, ExxonMobil, JP Morgan, BNP Paribas, JCB, Honda, Thales, Raytheon, BAT, Yell, HSBC, Rolls Royce, HP, Schlumberger, Toyota, BP... and many not so big or well known. Over the last 20 years I helped found and build ETL Solutions, developing alongside an expert professional team, growing the business organically, delivering data integration and migration services and products to organisations around the World. Driving the business forward in terms of business strategy, product and service offerings, marketing, sales and partner management.In my time I've built up a fair bit of real world experience such as carrying out a management buy-out, securing VC and grant funding of various kinds, started and sold businesses... I also recently helped the business I founded with a partner move to employee ownership. Over the last year or so I also started consulting for other companies and now looking to assist others. Some areas I have skills and experience include: Complex b2b sales, partner relationship development and management, sales & marketing strategy and management, board and team management, IT product and service innovation, VC and other funding, online marketing, event management, webinars...In addition I started and run one of the largest and most active whisky groups in the UK, North East Whisky Appreciation Soc. which can be found on Facebook (www.facebook.com/groups/NEWAS). As the pandemic hit I quickly moved to offering virtual tastings for the group, for corporate clients and charity fund raising.
