My role is to contribute to the day-today operations of the company, manage the product development projects, and work closely with our partners in the ecosystem to make solutions that minimize the hassle of running a company.I'm motivated by the team effort of building and releasing new products. In Driw we created a brand new product suite aimed at store management, warehouse management, logistics, and transportation in the age of new retail. As a VP of Engineering in Opera I was in charge of the engineering team behind Opera Max, and together we grew this successful Android app from a low-budget R&D activity to more than 15 million daily active users world wide. I enjoy building high performing teams and organizations and have many years of experience in strategy, recruitment, motivation, goal setting, reporting, feedback, and team cooperation across multiple cultures and time zones. As the VP of Deliveries in Opera I was responsible for building a customer delivery organization from the ground up. At it’s peak this department employed more than 200 people in 10 different offices around the world, delivering successful software projects to global customers like Samsung, Nintendo, Sony, Nokia, AT&T, and Telenor.I’m an experienced product, project, and program manager and have worked hands-on with customers in Europe, Asia, China, and the US. I live with my family in Oslo where I enjoy skiing, hiking, and rock climbing when time permits outside work and family life.
