Since a young girl, I have watched the women in my family strive to become independent and successful. This has prompted me to grow and learn the importance of being disciplined and self sufficient. Throughout high school I was able to learn about myself as I grew to love many hobbies and find interests. My community is most important which I’m heavily involved in different organizations such as Girl Scouts, Michigan Youth in Government, DECA, and Horizons Upward Bound. Because of the women I grew up admiring, I strive to make the world a better place and commit to everlasting change.
