Als transitiemanager bij VanWaarde zet ik me dagelijks in om transitieopgaven in beweging te krijgen. Dit doen o.a. door vorming van visie en strategie, het bouwen van consortia, een ketenaanpak opzetten en begeleiden en de regie te voeren op vele andere complexe processen. Altijd met de opgave centraal en met het oog op maatschappelijke impact om bij te dragen aan een volhoudbare toekomst. Hierin komt mijn ervaring in transitie en transformatie projecten, pionieren met nieuwe businessmodellen, ontwerpende aanpak en mijn agrarische roots samen. Naast werken aan de transitieopgaven geef ik ook graag mee vorm aan het vak van transitiemanagement, hierin komen alle geleerde lessen uit de praktijk terug; de inhoud is opgave specifiek maar de patronen en benodigde vaardigheden zijn vergelijkbaar. Deze draag ik graag over aan andere professionals om nog meer impact te maken. Understanding customer objectives & challenges, bringing in new perspectives and designing the right solutions with a team of experts is what excites me in this role.

With a team of professionals I lead the change how we worked with a substantial portfolio of large advertisers in different industries. We developed a new strategic sales framework, set up cross-functional collaboration and renewed relationships to grow Google and Customers business in an effective way. Exciting to lead the change, explore new ways of working and take other teams along which results in success for customers & Google.

DDMA and the Voice Committee focus on increasing knowledge and supporting the network of experts in the field of 'voice' channels. The DDMA aims to bring the use of voice applications from early adopters to early majority and make voice part of digital transformation.

Made a great success of the launch of the Google Assistant in the Netherlands with more than 40 partners live with a voice action (a.o. Albert Heijn, Transavia, KPN, Rituals, Q-Music). In only 4 months time, I recruited these partners to design and build their voice action, which was a new discipline for all of them. This Dutch approach has been used as a blueprint for the launches in other Northern European Markets. It was a great experience to set up this pressure cooker, to pioneer in the new world of voice, inspiring others and being able to build trust with these large brands to join me on this unknown journey.

The Shopping Awards (previously 'Thuiswinkel Awards'), is an annual recognition for the best (eCom)retailers of the Netherlands in several categories. I was part of the jury for Home & Garden and Fashion retailers as a professional expert.

Project coordination and connecting Googlers with NGO's, Charities & Cultural institutes (a.o. Voedselbank, Natuurmonumenten, Plastic Soup Foundation, Concertgebouw orkest, etc.) to make use of the talent, expertise and enthusiasm of Googlers for the good. Partnering with the largest e-Commerce retailers to improve their marketing efforts with Google's advertising formats and measurement solutions.

ShoppingTomorrow is the digital commerce platform for all e-commerce professionals. We jointly explore, investigate and contribute to the transformation of B2C and B2B retail. I was part of the expert group about 'store innovations', we wrote a blueprint on how to use new technology in the physical store.

Variety of new business development projects: App concept design & realization in the online postcard (web-to-print) market, SEO optimization (content & strategy) of 9 online retail platforms. Manager online shopformules: development, strategy, online marketing and daily management of two online retail shops: www.twish.nl & www.hebbedeal.nl

Responsible for product development, market & trend research, product introductions, training & support to sales department (>250 employees) in cross-media marketing. Examples of new business projects: Mass introduction of the QR code for TNT Post the Netherlands as an enabler to combine direct mail with mobile marketing.

Main activities: exploring the TNT Post organisation & work on business assignments for different departments.Project: investigation of commercial international sustainability opportunities.

Assignment: Contextual research of the current urban storm water management systems used in the Netherlands. Result I: A plan to improve the innovation culture in the company.Result II: Various design proposals for products made out of concrete.

Investigation of market trends in street furniture.Results: Design and engineering of multi-usable fence.
