Assist teachers and faculty members by performing various tasks. Responsible for managing and monitoring the classroom environment.

Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities. Perform other related duties as assigned by building administrator(s) per school/state policies and practices. Supervise students outside of class such as in the hallways and the cafeteria. Return instructional materials, equipment, and keys to the proper place. Respect and maintain the confidentiality of student and school personnel information. Report all student injuries, accidents, illnesses, and discipline problems to the appropriate authority immediately or as soon as possible.Organize students for effective instruction. Maintain discipline and classroom control that fosters a safe and positive learning environment for all students and staff per school policies. Implement lesson plans, while ensuring the integrity of academic time and in a manner, which motivates students to learn and participate.Ensure adequate supervision to ensure the health, welfare, and safety of all students. Dismiss all students from the classroom before leaving the building.Collect and place students’ papers on the regular teacher’s desk.
