I like to think I've done a few cool things in my life—from skydiving to walking the Great Wall of China to road-tripping around Iceland. The more exciting, the better! With so many neat experiences, it's been difficult to pin down what exactly I wanted in terms of a career. I knew I wanted the ability to travel and to use my mind and creativity. It wasn't until I started my master's program in Web Design at the University of Florida that I finally discovered an avenue that could satisfy my professional wants and needs. Front-end development and web design in general married my technical and artistic abilities, along with challenging me in ways I didn't know were possible. They also taught me the importance of perseverance and patience, as cheesy as it sounds. Sometimes it takes literal hours to achieve one functionality or look, but it makes it that much more satisfying when it finally works. Coding can be a metaphor for many things in life, that's for sure. I hope I get to work with some awesome, interesting people and learn a few new things along the way. I look forward to building new websites and completing them in a variety of locations. My entire master's program, I was seemingly always traveling. How lucky am I to have found such a complementary field to my nomadic lifestyle. Anyhow, I'm getting too wordy now. Being concise was never one of my strong points. If you want any more conversation starters, I am always ready and willing to discuss my infallible love for Taylor Swift, SVU, and Swansea, Wales. I have now traveled to 20 countries, and my goal is 30 before I turn 30. Thank you for hanging on this long if you're still here, and I look forward to connecting!
