Operations Manager for Wireline, looking after 6 countries: Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Brunei, and the Philippines. Wide variety of customers and environments, from low tier to high spec deepwater. This assignment began in Bangkok and ended in Kuala Lumpur.

Human Resources Manager for Wireline product line, based in Dubai, covering the entire Middle East Area (including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, UAE, Egypt, South Sudan, Yemen, Pakistan, and India) with headcount in excess of 2600 employees.

Balikpapan

Operations Manager for the Wireline segment covering the business in Kalimantan. Exploration, development, and production work in land, swamp, offshore, and deepwater environments. Two operating bases, 30 Wireline units, 250+ employees.

Bergen Area, Norway

Front line manager covering the Wireline exploration activity in Norway. High technology environment with extremely expensive rig rates in which customers had zero tolerance for safety or quality defects. Improved service delivery by over 40% despite rapid growth and constrained resources by focusing employees on the goal of “getting it right the first time, every time.”

Stavanger Area, Norway

Liaison between Schlumberger’s Wireline operations and Statoil’s exploration group. • Based inside Statoil’s office, planned and monitored complex jobs in largely hostile environments (HPHT, deepwater, horizontal) offshore Norway. Worked closely with the drilling team to ensure operational risk was mitigated while satisfying the data needed for G&G.• As the resident Wireline Subject Matter Expert (SME), presented new technologies to Statoil on numerous occasions. Many were subsequently incorporated into the logging programs and proven to enhance data quality and/or improve efficiency.

Belle Chasse, Louisiana

Subject Matter Expert for Wireline Formation Testing and Sampling logging jobs in the Gulf of Mexico.• Typically deepwater environments, often with high pressure and high temperature. • Lead engineer for many of the most challenging jobs utilizing the latest technology. Worked for Chevron, BP, Shell, and BHP, among others.• Recognized for outstanding contributions to the business continuity in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Houston, Texas Area

Instrumental in developing and field testing a new Wireline formation tester, the Cased Hole Dynamics Tester (CHDT). • Successfully completed the field test within the framework of the project. The tool was commercialized and continues to generate revenue today. • Still considered a Subject Matter Expert with CHDT as of 2014. Last performed a job in Indonesia in 2010 when an emergency situation arose and expertise was required. Trained over a dozen engineers on the service between 2001 and 2011.
