Kairos Media, LLC is the company I started as part of a career change. Kairos is a Greek word that in short means, "the right moment." For much of my life, I had dreams of starting my own company but didn't know what that was. I had almost lost the dream when I got involved with film production in my early 30's. Unexpectedly, all of the lights suddenly came on. For many reasons, it didn't seem like the right moment to start a business: I was married, had young children, and had just recently built a new home. But the word Kairos carries a divine connotation with it, and I could not deny that this was the Kairos moment I had been waiting for. Kairos Productions were my learning years. After I got some experience under my belt, I rebranded the company under the dba Taproot Pictures.
