As a Practice Leader, my practice focus is providing master planning, design, and related architecture expertise necessary for the development and delivery of healthcare and senior living campuses with our amazing clients. I am responsible for all aspects of our dedicated team from talent development, best practice implementation, process improvement, and quality assurance. We have some of the most talented professionals in the industry...I make sure they have the resources they need to be successful.Additionally, I am responsible for growing the practices through planning, identifying, prospecting, qualifying and closing of new business opportunities. This includes creating strategies to expand the market, as well as executing extensive outbound efforts to develop relationships with existing and new clients that will lead to new business.

As a Client Leader, I have the exciting responsibility to bring solutions-based experts from Progressive AE to my healthcare clients. I'm involved in all aspects of the highly collaborative healthcare practice from healthcare planning to project management to business development on a daily basis. I work in concert with the firm's senior leadership to develop and execute strategies to advance and grow the business in a sustainable and effective manner consistent with the firm's core values.

As the primary healthcare principal, I led all aspects of healthcare design practice for a mid-sized, full-service architecture and engineering firm. Our clients ranged in size from small, community-based clinics to large healthcare groups. I was fortunate to be, in someway, involved in every healthcare project. Every day presents new challenges in healthcare design; I met with leadership teams, user groups, and potential clients on a daily basis. As the lead healthcare planner, I mentored staff on the development of planning concepts from origination through completion.• Responsible for meeting annual healthcare revenue goals.• Planned and designed over 1,000,000 square-feet of inpatient and outpatient healthcare space.• Won 5-year IDIQ contracts with the Department of Veterans of Affairs and General Services Administration.• Managed operations, technology, and finances of 15 person architectural group.• Led the development and execution of a new branding strategy through proposals, presentations, and website.

As a Project Architect, I worked to support numerous healthcare projects throughout Michigan. Every day was a new challenge and a new opportunity to gain experience in healthcare planning and design. Specific focus was on building consensus with our clients and developing solutions that improved their outcomes.• Supported all healthcare projects in the office: planning/design, CAD, specifications, presentations, meetings.• Worked daily with repeat clients to develop design solutions, construction documents, and campus standards.• Focused 100% of my energy on healthcare design skills through projects from $35,000 to $35 million in size.• Developed standardized programming documents for use throughout the practice.• Integrated medical equipment planning into the standard set of construction documents produced by the firm.• Developed and implemented profitable Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategy firm-wide.
