Responsible for day to day operation of the hotel.

Alila Jabal Akhdar is an 86 suite, award winning Luxury Boutique Resort and is widely regarded as one of the Middle Easts finest resorts. In my role as General Manager I oversee all aspects of the business including owner relationship, financial budgeting and performance, and all operational aspects. During my tenure I lead the team in successfully operating the resort throughout COVID 19 pandemic, significantly expanded the resorts sustainability program, restructured the resorts financial base (HR related expenses, operating expenses) and achieved important industry recognition from Conde Nast Magazine (3rd Best Resort in Middle East and Omans Favourite hotel) and in the 2020 Hyatt global customer satisfaction scores we ranked 19th out of 1,000.

As General Manager, I have overall responsibility for all aspects of the hotel. Area’s of key focus are managing the relationship between the management and the owning companies, providing outstanding care for all of the hotels customers, including guests, employees and business partners and of course maximizing profitability through effective management strategies.

Hyatt Regency Dubai is a 414 room and suite business hotel located in Dubai. My primary responsibilities are to ensure all aspects of brand standards, staff and guest satisfaction, and financial goals are met for the following departmentsFront office, Housekeeping, Laundry, Club Olympus fitness centre and spa.

Responsible for repositioning Hyatt Regency Dubai after a two year renovation project. Primary area's of accountability were room revenue generation, preperation of the hotels annual marketing plan, managing the hotels Annual marketing budget, leading a team of twenty and managing the hotels large distribution channel.
