I worked on a number of projects including: a DTC device company on options for high throughput manufacture of a miniaturized PCR plate which is the consumable component of their system; the system is designed to detect genomic mutations with significance to human nutritiona technology investment fund on the sale of an antibody mimetic technology with applications in diagnostics and therapeutics and, in a separate project, doing due diligence on a possible investment opportunity in the FiSH diagnostics spacea Chinese company that was looking into setting up an allergy diagnostics business in the UK

Microtest was spun out of Imperial College London with the intention of setting up an integrated, allergy diagnostics company based on its multiplex immunoassay, delivered as a protein microarray.

Re-joined OGT from Arrow Therapeutics after it acquired Arrow's microarray fabrication assets. Transferred array fabrication assets from London to Oxford. Designed and built a state of the art, microarray fabrication facility and operation, allowing OGT to establish its microarray services and products businesses. Built and led the team that ran microarray production and maintained the sophisticated, robotic, microarray fabrication instruments. This operation completely satisfied OGT's requirements for 5 years, after that time I managed the difficult transition of OGT's microarray supply from in-house to outsource.

Worked on the characterization of the uncertainties and errors associated with measurement data from fermentation processes.
