My name is Karlo. I am an aspiring Content Creator/ Artist with a background in production mainly for film and television. I have a particular interest in working in the animation industry in the future. For now though I am looking for experience in any production and continuing to build my diverse skill set and working hard to advance my career. Here are some examples that define me as a person and as an artist.When it comes to any production I think the most important aspect is the story. Storytelling is my passion. Throughout my life I have learned that there are multiple mediums you can use to tell your story. From Visual to audio, or writing in print to directing on screen, the best stories start in your head. Once you have an idea you need to formulate and plan and how you wish to execute it. One of the biggest projects I've ever been a part of was the planning and production of a large stage show for my club during university. This was my chance to take a full leadership role and Content head in charge of writing and organizing a script . Once we had a plan in place we worked hard to create everything we needed, including casting our actors, creating our own props from scratch, and organizing practice times for all people involved in the production.Shooting video has been a very interesting experience so far. I used to think as long as you capture the subject you are filming that you’ve accomplished your goal. After being behind the camera I realized that there’s more to filming that can enhance the experience. Shooting from different angles can express your subject’s motion and adding lighting can set the mood of that entire scene. How you shoot video can already affect how the story is told. Finally at the end of the day this is the path I chose out of the many careers I could have pursued. This is what I want to be doing for the majority of my life, that has always been my plan for a while now. It is only matter of time before I accomplish my goals.
