Having over 16 years in Governance experience both in Maori Kaupapa and Tauiwi organisations, Karl's governance experience includes Community Resilience, Housing, Environment, Media, Arts and Culture, including sitting on several funding boards as well as consulting several Tauiwi organisations in beginning the Treaty of Waitangi organisational implementation process.Previous to that Karl had eight years in both local and national student and educational governance including Massey Council, Karl has made numerous community, business, and political network partnerships. Since the 2019 global pandemic Karl has pivoted towards roles with News, Social and conventional media as well as Television, Commercial, Movie and MC stand up. Through out all this Karl remains a Google Local Guide enhancing the Google Maps experience with over 4.2 million views. All the above fits well with a motto that Karl has long been particularly fond of, "If you're not networking, you're not working" and LinkedIn also fits this motto well.
