My responsibilities at Principle Leisure include the following.Manage and maintain Electronic Point of Sale system (Zonal Aztec), ensuring data continuity, regularly update data based on operation changes. Manage repairs and faults maintaining they are resolve in line with contract specifications.Maintain the security and integrity of the network infrastructure (Wired and Wireless), to ensure that all data and systems inside the wide area network are protected from intruders and/or malicious software.Maintain servers used for multiple applications including EPOS system, Database services, accounting applications and document sharing.Managing network equipment and Internet connectivity to ensure secure and reliable transportation of data from multiple applications.Identify requirements for new hardware and or software that may improve productivity and reduce operational costs.Proactive monitoring of systems to identify and resolve issues before they affect productivity and or service availability/performance.Reactive end use support for Desktops, mobile devices and laptops use throughout the company within different departments.Design and advise on hardware and cabling required for new sites and renovations, then managing and performing the installation of Back of House hardware, Network infrastructure, Electronic Point of Sale.Management of CCTV systems, ensuring reliable data capture and secure (physical and digital) storage.

At PBR I gained a significant wealth of experience.Mange and maintain multiple Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) systems (Zonal Aztec and Prizm, Stocklink, ComTrex), making regular changes and updates to the units with data provided by other departments including Marketing and Operations. Also managing repairs and faults ensuring they are resolved to contract specifications. Manage internet connections at each unit ensuring that communications with all services can be established. Investigate new equipment and software to the network or upgrades to existing equipment to improve reliability and ensure cost effectiveness. Proactive monitoring of all systems to identify and halt issues before they develop. Reactive desktop support for the offices, units and mobile personnel. Maintain the Desktops, Laptops and mobile devices used throughout the company. Design and advise on hardware and cabling required for new sites and renovations, then managing and performing the installation of Back of House hardware, Network infrastructure, Electronic Point of Sale.

NEP UK Limited distribute bespoke industrial packaging and retail packing nationally.While working for NEP my day to day activities were usually occupied performing the following tasks.Management of bespoke logistics software used by all departments to perform their daily activities including sales, accounting, purchasing, shipping and credit control. Desktop support for users on site. Monitoring and maintaining communications network between group head office and other group branch offices. Development and implementation of company intranet site, integrating with bespoke logistical software to eliminate spiralling licensing costs. Maintain disaster recovery programme and keep clean and secure backups of all company data.
