Key Achievements: • OBE for services to Mental Health Policy – recommended by the Prime Minister to HM the Queen in the 2020 New Year’s Honours • SHPs most influential in Health & Safety – in 2019 was voted No1 by over 600,000 worldwide readers. • Non-Executive Director - 8 years on the Board of ‘Water & Sanitation for the Urban Poor' provides advice to governments and solutions for water and sanitation services to developing countries across Asia and Africa. • University of Cambridge Lecturer - developed and deliver the Safety, Security & Health syllabus on both their undergraduate and postgraduate / masters engineering programmes at the Department of Engineering. • Government Adviser - Advice is regularly sought by Government regarding mental health policy to affect business, having worked closely with the DWP Health Unit & Cabinet Office for many years. Recently this has included the publication of documents such as the Prime Ministers Thriving at Work report; The Business Reporting on Physical & Psychological Disabilities; amendments to The First Aid at Work Guidance to incorporate mental health alongside the established physical health. • Culture Shift / Global Impact – worked internationally on all 5 continents steering several organisations to significant cultural turnaround. Recently steered Thames Water to attain a 90% reduction in Illness & Injuries as one of the UKs largest employers • Radio Show Presenter – presenter of ‘The Business Hour’ a weekly show on Mens Radio Station, interviewing prominent leaders in the world of Health & Wellbeing • HM Armed Forces – served as a commander in multiple operational tours of conflict whilst in the British Army, facing extreme levels of adversity and pressurised working environments.
