I am a freelance designer and web developer with experience as a technology generalist and project coordinator. I've worked in media, e-commerce, and marketing roles with a high level of accountability and independence. My greatest assets are a love of collaboration, clear communication skills, and a knack for creative problem-solving.I love to learn. I've worked in several fields in the past decade, and my skillset has grown in each one. I have comprehensive knowledge of databases, graphics and video, and systems administration. This past fall, I took a certificate program in GIS at UNM and learned how to use the ArcGIS suite, and continued my forays into geoanlysis with QGIS and the R statistical programming language.I've managed dozens of projects, seeing them from initial setup through to delivery. Delivery specs and agreements are extremely important in my work, and I make a constant effort to respect them.My mindset is centered around being organized and transparent. Whenever I hand off a project, colleagues and clients can expect to get comprehensive documentation of its parts and transparent records of the work done on it.I am very comfortable with the standard tools used in workplaces, like Office and the Adobe Suite, and web services like Dropbox and Google Docs. I supplement that with a well-rounded set of technical skills in programming, development, and Unix/Linux administration that are useful in accelerating my work. Programming and automation with open-source tools (like Python and its libraries) has helped me in multiple roles to reduce my dependence on proprietary tools, increase the consistency and efficiency of my work, and, at times, allowed me to reclaim time to build new skills and experiment.
