Karl X has been involved in the Arts for several years as a Actor, Theatre stage manager, Short Film director, writer and Radio talk show host. In 2001 Karl X started the Movement Of The People show on Sound Radio where he interviewed various persons of interest. He then moved on to other community stations such as Riddimradio.co.uk,(2006-2009) Ban2radio.com (2009-2010) boneyadd.com - Jamaican online radio station (2011-present) and klickradio.com (2011-2012) all the shows presented issues to his listening audience that were hard hitting and enlightening. Karl X produced, wrote, directed & performed in his 1st short film in 1994- 'Shades of Ignorance' It was shown at Afro Hollywood film festival. He performed in his second short film in 1999 produced and directed by his younger brother- Jamal Frederick - called 'Dam!' His last film was in 2001 'Sojourner of Milk' which was a documentary he directed - looking at London's Hip Hop scene. This was shown at the Ritzy Cinema in Brixton 2002. Since 2002 Karl X has interviewed various muzik artist and community activists such as Mutabaruka, M1 (dead prez), Booker T Coleman, Dr Ben Jochannan, Paul Ifoyami Grant, Jonzi D, Flip Fraser, Kabaka Pyramid, Karamanti , Stonebwoy, Uprising Roots & many more from the creative arts industry (actors, poets, comics, directors, musicians etc, etc).Karl X continues to work currently on radio presenting weekly muzik & talk shows.Every Wednesday at www.bonyaad.com/forum - High Grade Reggae show 10pm-12am (GMT)Karl X has also presented various shows online at Blogtalk radio check and you can review previous interviews from links below.
