Many of my clients call me an innovative sales force development authority. With 35 years in sales and sales management development; I’m also seen as passionate about helping them grow revenue and margins. In 1989, I was made North American VP of Sales of a European diesel engine group, an integral part of a team which grew revenue from $10 to $370mm in less than 4 years. During the mid '90's, looking for a new challenge, I purchased a Sandler Training franchise. Over the next 10 years I worked with a variety of clients, helping them grow sales 20-30% annually on a routine basis.In 2006, another epiphany came that reshaped the way I now grow revenue for my clients.I believed the Sandler system only contained the recipe for the "meat and potatoes" of a basic "sales" meal. I wanted to formulate a complete Thanksgiving "revenue" feast. I accomplished this in two ways: • incorporating the magic of "sales science" into every facet of what I delivered • including more systems, tools and services that were required to achieve that aimIt’s a fact: Less than 50% of salespeople historically achieve their annual quotas. I began evaluating my clients’ sales processes, strategies and people using an innovative proprietary tool, based upon sales science and data from over 2.2 million salespeople evaluations across 35,000 companies over the past 30 years.It finds insightful and accurate issues in all aspects of a company’s people, sales systems and processes. Bottom line: nothing is left to chance.As I’ve demonstrated with hundreds of clients, there is only complete 100% certainty of what to do and exactly how to move forward. For example, using this tool as a hiring assessment, I’ve shown the certainty of making a successful sales hire increases from 50 to 91%. My proven holistic system includes all eight facets of a company’s sales processes.All of the systems need to work together. If not, any sales development effort will ultimately fail, including sales training. Sales training by itself never works.What makes me different is this: I provide all of the above in-house with no need to outsource these functions. I even provide "Boots on the Ground" sales management to those organizations when it makes sense.I am tired of seeing so many good organizations not achieve predictable and consistent revenue growth.
