For each customer I work with, I create an individually tailored programme of activity, managing participation and progress, and the successful movement into employment of a group of customers. I deliver activities to small groups of customers as well as provide information, advice and guidance on a one to one basis. I joined the Principal People recruitment team in March 2008 and whilst with them I successfully passed the REC Certificate with a Distinction. I worked within all sectors including Civil Engineering, Local Government, Facilities Management, oil and gas, logistics and transport, retail, distribution, environmental, petrochemical, charity, Finance and pharmaceutical. I recruited on a permanent, temporary and contract basis, positions varying from administrator to managing director. I stated with a cold desk meaning business development was vital in order to achieve target. I studied the NEBOSH Certificate in my spare time to fully understand the roles I was recruiting for.

My role involved line managing a team of 7 cashiers meaning motivating and driving sales was key in order to achieve their sales targets. My targets were measured on sales as well as service, our aim was to deliver the best customer experience on the high street. I was responsible for all paperwork that went through the branch ensuring it met regulatory and financial security requirements. Whilst I was in control our branch passed an Audit rate of 92%.
