CurrentI provide technical advice on the service and support of mobile safety and collision avoidance systems such as cameras, lights, proximity detection and radio remote controls to increase safety and production efficiency.I work with mining engineers to analyze operations for the purpose of determining specific requirements for designing and deploying custom video systems.I work with mobile equipment departments at surface and underground mining operations to enhance safety and productivity on heavy equipment by providing collision avoidance systems.I work in collaboration with Laurentian University's Kinesiology department as they conduct LOS (line of sight) analysis on a variety of types of heavy equipment. The purpose of the studies is to eliminate operator blind spots by identifying appropriate camera positioning for specific make/models of equipment.
