The performance audit section within AOS has a mission that extends beyond traditional financial statement attestation and seeks to provide state and local government entities with independent assessments of operational effectiveness and efficiency.While at AOS, I conducted and managed numerous operational assessments of state and local governmental entities to identify potential cost savings, revenue enhancements, and methods to improve operational effectiveness.These engagements included assessing fiscal operations of school districts and other local governmental entities including financial forecasting, budgeting, and accounting processes.
