I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Systems and Engineering (ISE) at Lehigh University. My research program aims to push the boundaries of stochastic and (distributionally) robust optimization (SRO) and foster multidisciplinary research collaborations to address emerging real-world problems. I have a track record of designing, analyzing, and implementing innovative SRO and MIP methodologies for solving real-world problems in many application domains, including healthcare, facility location, transportation, and disaster response and mitigation. Another stream of my research focuses on designing fairness-promoting optimization frameworks. I also serve as Task Lead for Marine Energy Supply Chain Optimization at the Atlantic Marine Energy Center.Professional recognition of my work includes the 2024 INFORMS Minority Issues Forum (MIF) Early Career Award (honorable mention), the 2022 MIF Paper Award (winner), a Junior Faculty Interest Group Paper Prize (finalist), and a Service Science Best Cluster Paper Award (finalist). Some recent awards I’ve received from Lehigh University include the 2024 Lehigh ISE Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award and the 2023 Alfred Noble Robinson Faculty Award.I have diverse teaching experiences, and my evaluations consistently exceed the school's average.
