Karn Bhatia works with the Tata Management Training Centre (TMTC), the Tata Group’s Leadership Development Centre, a crucible for leadership development, that focuses on nurturing leadership through the changing paradigms while preserving the Tata Way.As a faculty and a senior practice consultant, works with senior Tata leaders across companies, to understand gaps between current and future capabilities and to identify challenges and recommend relevant interventions and customized solutions. Has also led partnerships with various global organizations including American Society for Training & Development (ASTD), DDI and Goldratt Group (founded Theory of Constraints ‘TOC’ – a management philosophy).Program Director for Tata Group Executive Leadership Seminar (a by invitation leadership program in partnership with Ross School of Business, Michigan University), Management development programs in the key areas of Leadership, Marketing, Customer Centricity and Theory of Constraints (TOC) suite of programs. Conducts sessions on leadership pipeline, leadership effectiveness and inculcating smart skills like presentation skills for groups and senior professionals.The role encompasses having regular conversations with business leaders to understand industry trends and provide consultation to build functional skills and behavioral-based learning capabilities across the enterprise. To work with internal team of functional experts and a large network of external speakers, faculty, content developers, thought leaders and vendors to ensure best in class solutions while ensuring program profitability and establishing ways to measure effectiveness of management and leadership programs.
