Dr. Karnika Seth is the Founding Partner at Seth Associates, an Indian law firm based in Delhi. Dr. Seth is principal legal advisor to many multinational groups and government entities. She has actively resolved complex Cybercrime cases in conjunction with the law enforcement authorities in India and represents clients in litigation matters before various forums.

Dr. Seth is Guest Faculty to law enforcement Academies including National Judicial Academy, National Police Academy, BPR&D ,CBI ,NIA, and has trained several batches of Judicial and Police officers and Armed forces and senior Govt officials on cybercrime laws. Her training areas include IT law, cybercrime investigations, collection , preservation and production of digital evidence

Dr. Seth is Professor of Practice at VIPS and Honorary Professor at Amity University. She was appointed as Member of Expert panel that drafted cyberlaw courses for IGNOU, National Law school,India, and the University Grants Commission of India for its e-pathshala and Massive open online courses on cyberlaw. Dr. Seth has addressed conferences, seminars and workshops in various educational institutions & professional academies including IIM, Symbiosis, LBSNAA, NLU, NLS, CIAC, ICAI, etc.

Dr. Seth is empanelled Arbitrator and Legal Counsel to the National Internet Exchange of India and is part of various committees and consultations held regarding ccTLDs and regional internet domain name registration services. She also represents NIXI in various litigation matters before courts in India.

Dr. Seth advises both Indian Government and International Organsiations in developing new laws or amending extant laws of the Internet. She has been a part of National think Tanks set up by the Ministry of Home Affairs working to form laws to curb fake news circulation on internet & regulation of social media. She is part of the EU-India deliberations held at the ESIWA ORF forum building roadmap of leveraging emerging tech and cybersecurity. She advises office of UNICEF & ICMEC on online child safety issues, the UN food initiatives in India and advises on data protection & privacy laws Issues

Her book, Protection of Children on Internet is widely read by all stakeholders of online safety. She often writes for national newspapers, legal journals, both online and offline.

Dr. Seth has trained several batches of police officers and Task force dealing in cybercrimes at the Central Bureau of Investigations.
