8 years in the industry is an enormous amount of time for career development minded individuals. I gave the best in every position I was entrusted with and even in my youth saw the respect earned from even the most senior officers. The two vivid highlights of my career so far has been firstly the appointment to the New Educators Network conference in Sydney to which I not only represented PNG as an attendant but I was very fortunate enough to give a keynote address as well as sitting on the international panel for discussion on climate change in Australia. The second subsequent highlight was my appointment on the PNG Teachers Association's council of Youth andwomen. Up until today, I have had the urge to keep doing more even outside of my job description and speak and influence youths in professional circles, in societies as well as in school to which I do best and instill common understanding of common issues that affect us as individuals but also in a collective perspective as a nation.
