I am a Virtual Assistant with a focus on words and organization. I love helping solopreneurs and small businesses craft engaging content and get more hours out of the day. I received my Journalism degree from The University of Kansas and spent 15 years in client relations, project management, facilitation and business writing before I bowed out for a time to be a stay-at-home parent. Children’s Hospital Association was my corporate home for over a decade, where I worked with some of the best humans I've had the privilege to know, and gained valuable experience in facilitation, curriculum development, conference planning and multi-channel marketing while managing peer networking groups for pediatric healthcare executives of all levels – director-level to c-suite – from over 40 children’s hospitals across the US.My son is now in middle school and the in-the-trenches season of parenting a little person is transitioning into the chauffeur-and-chef season. I’ve been thrilled to put some of my skills to use and help people find their way out of the minutiae and back to the real work they love. Let’s talk about organizing your workday and upping your content game!I served as Co-President of our local elementary school PTO for four years and continue to volunteer monthly to deliver for Meals on Wheels. When I’m not volunteering, I love to read, listen to podcasts, tend to my many houseplants, browse the thrift stores, coddle our aging derpy Golden mix, and spend time with my husband and son.
