Contributed to Chromium and SKIA. Created multi-platform software for Windows, Linux, OSX to intercept render requests sent to chromium's graphics engine for performance analysis, benchmarking and future step by step playback, included an optional GUI. Developed in C, C++, Java and leveraged QT, Gyp libraries.The tool enabled iterative testing previously impossible. Discovered large areas of improvement due to the way render requests processed clipping and masking operations. Using this information we were able to reduce render requests made in the Chrome Browser on average by 50% in every webpage load.

Engineer on the Innerspace project, created the tool currently named "Nyx"; THE google web application for the stitching and placement of panoramas gathered through manually operated cameras (as opposed to the streetview car). Challenges for manually operated cameras include lack of additional sensors such as proximity, gps, etc. These panoramas still need to be placed relative to each other, and also relative to the roads on StreetView.This tool is currently named 'Nyx' and is made available to the users of Indoor Streetview, more formally known as Business Photos. Heavy web ui functionality developed includes intuitive drag and drop, scaling, rotation, transformation mechanics for panoramas.In-house tool developed in javascript, C, C++ with no reliance on existing external javascript libraries. Also leveraged web-gl, svg vector graphics to created a modular lightweight streetview viewer also in use on other parts of google. Rolled together a custom server to routinely push data into the StreetView database.Received a returning internship with no required technical interviews the next summer.
