Provide leadership and consultation to Mental Health Clinicians in the Healthy Homes home visiting program. Healthy Homes provides home and community-based support services to families with children aged 0-5 throughout San Mateo County facing stressors such as homelessness, domestic violence, mental illness, and financial hardship. Intern at UCSF Infant-Parent Program: Participated in an intensive practice-based training in multicultural infant/family mental health. Provided diversity-informed mental health services to a multicultural population of children (birth trough 5) and families. School-based mental health services included psychotherapy and Therapeutic Shadowing to toddlers and preschoolers who exhibited behavioral concerns. Clinical services included assessment and intervention offered at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center or in community settings such as families' homes. Provided parents with access to concrete assistance, emotional support, non-didactic developmental guidance regarding child development, and insight-oriented psychotherapy focused on the relationship between parent and child. Met with families to complete assessments, provide developmental guidance and referrals, including linkage to clinical services. Met frequently with childcare staff individually and in groups to discuss individual children. Completed assessments, including Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS 0-5), treatment plan of care, progress notes and all the required paper work. Attend weekly trainings/seminars and reflective supervision meetings and participated in case presentations. The curriculum at UCSF Infant-Parent Program included units dedicated to gain knowledge of parenting, family functioning, and infant-party rent and preschool-parent relationships; infant/toddler and preschool development; biological and psychosocial factors impacting outcomes; risk and resiliency; observation, screening & assessment; diagnosis & intervention; interdisciplinary collaboration; and ethics.

Provided community-based, outpatient, mental health services to youth from out-of-home placements, who were returning back to their communities and their families. Clients presented a wide range of mental health, substance abuse, and behavioral issues. Worked with clients with dual diagnoses and intense histories of trauma.
