She also possesses expertise in supporting UN-specific integrated planning-processes and inter-agency cooperation frameworks for peace operations; budgetary processes; peacebuilding, humanitarian, and sustainable development initiatives; regular reporting; as well as DDR and implementation/verification of peace agreements/ceasefires.She has extensive experience in team management, programme management, movement-building, campaigning, strategic communications and mobilization. In 2014, Karol founded MY World Mexico: Hub of Action for Sustainable Development in Mexico, a nationwide social business aimed to engage stakeholders and individuals in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Supported by the UN SDG Action Campaign, the organization has impacted +100M people across Mexico and Latin America thanks to +2M actions, +10K organizations, +100K volunteers and +100 campaigns.Due to a +10-year expertise in the design, implementation, and evaluation mechanisms of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the SDGs, Karol has taken part in +450 intergovernmental processes, representing intergovernmental entities, the private sector, and civil society.
