Hotel Okura Amsterdam is part of Okura Hotels & Resorts, a worldwide chain of 25 hotels. The Okura flag also includes Nikko Hotels International (NHI) and Hotel JAL City (HJC). In my role as a Guest Relations Officer I was the connection between the VIP guests and the hotel. I was the person responsible for organising an unforgettable stay for our guests. To achieve the highest level of customer service and satisfaction, I was cooperating with different departments within the hotel. A spider in the web so to say.

AFAS Live (formerly known as the Heineken Music Hall) is a concert hall in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The big hall has a capacity of 5,500 and is 3000 m²; a smaller hall (for after parties) has a capacity of 700. Many artists, both national and international, have performed at the venue. The venue was specially designed for amplified music by architect Frits van Dongen of Architekten Cie.During the evening shows I was part of the bar-tending, as well as the cloakroom team. Next to that I was also a head cashier during the mornings where I was the one responsible for the correct processing and registration of payments done during the show.
